EIPAL CURRICULUM


Thousands of professionals specialising in European Affairs come together in Brussels to represent interest groups, their name is lobbyists. Who are they really?

The constantly evolving EU Institutions have to be explained and analyzed within a more complex, subtle and changing environment.

Exchanges with European Institutions are based on rigorous ethics, professional working patterns, partnership spirit and an accurate sense of dialogue.

This is not to be improvised for the growing EU area of action with the accession
of the ten new member states and further accession perspectives with regions, corporations and NGOs facing vital challenges.

EIPAL aim is to form in a credible and professional way, European Public Affairs and Lobbying experts.

A body of professors who brings qualified European civil servants and experienced professionals.

EIPAL is in appliance with the transparency conditions set by the European Parliament and the European Commission. It abides to the Commission, European Parliament and SEAP’ s code of conduct and information policy.

2.TARGET GROUP

2.1 Diplomats working in the various missions to the EU who deal with European Institutions and therefore demand knowing their functioning in order to be efficient.

2.2. Brussels-based professionals( federations, consultancies, law firms, corporations, public authorities, schools, universities) and interest groups.

2.3 Individuals called upon exerting functions in European Public Affairs, interest groups representations and lobbying.

2.4 Students willing to improve their academic background by acquiring an specialised European outlook

2.5 Any citizen interested in receiving education related to the European structures

3. ORGANISATION


Since its creation in 1994, the EIPAL organizes two yearly sessions, spring and fall, on an evening course-basis.

Formulae: - 3.1 From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.( 3 h lectures), Mondays and Thursdays
6h a week, twice a week totalling 80h per session
50 professors
- 3.2 Tailored programmes can be launched on request of groups, federations, corporations etc…( Please note the most important formation programme was successfully organised for 275 000 electrical engineers)

Location : 39 Avenue des Arts, 1000 Bruxelles.

Number of students per session is limited to 35.

Languages: courses are taught in French and/or English
